Are you a vegan, do you like a quiet environment, a touch of playfulness and colour? And are you looking for a nice place to stay for at least a year? This might be what you have been looking for!

We- a vegan family consisting of Veerle, Pablo and our daughter Mila- will travel abroad as a family for multiple work assignments between July 2025 and July 2026. This is why we are looking for someone (a person, couple) who wants to rent the master bedroom of our house for at least a year.

During most of the year you will also have the shared spaces (kitchen, living room, bathroom, garden room, veranda, garden) all for yourself. Two of the four bedrooms will stay locked with personal items while we travel.

Registration is possible in consultation, but we will stay registered as well.

Practicalities:

- Available: 14 July 2025 14 July 2026 (extension possible as vegan co-living)

- Rent: 750 p/m all-in ( 500 basic rent + 250 utilities & taxes )

- Deposit: 1 month

- 2 min walk Almere Oostvaarders station (train: 30 min Amsterdam, 40 min Utrecht)

- 5 min walk Oostvaardersplassen nature reserve

- Park directly opposite; small forest 3 min walk

The House

± 150 m² semi-detached family home

- Spacious living room with projector, open kitchen & island

- Second ground-floor kitchen for extra prep space

- Bathroom with Upfall eco-shower & bathtub + 2 toilets (one private)

- Large garden, greenhouse/veranda, herb spiral, pond

- Two locked bedrooms (storage) rest of house is yours to use

- Piano, guitar, ukulele, bikes

- possible rental of our car and/or camper share by agreement and for extra monthly costs

Your Room

- 20 m² ground-floor bedroom

- Double bed + loft bed (flexible setup)

- Desk, optional wardrobe; blackout shutters

- Private toilet next door

Rental Set-up

- Year 1: you will live mostly alone in the house (owners abroad)

- Year 2+ (optional): owners return and hope to continue as a vegan co-living group. You keep this room; they re-occupy two upstairs bedrooms.

! Vegan home rule: kitchen must remain free of meat, fish, dairy & eggs also during our absence.
