Apartment for Rent for Students Only (Female).

Hi! Im looking for a student roommate (required by the lease) to share a 2-bedroom apartment in Amsterdam. (PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE SENDING A MESSAGE!)

About the room & apartment

- Rent: 2,095 total 1,047.50 per person

- Deposit: 1 months full rent 2,095

- Utilities: around 100 p.p. per month max (incl. internet). We also get waste tax + water bills once a year, which well split when they arrive.

- Room: medium-sized but quite spacious, in a furnished apartment

- Kitchen: fully equipped (all the basics you need for cooking)

- Shared spaces: bathroom, toilet, kitchen, and living room

- Floor: 5th floor with elevator

- Registration: required (BRP/gemeente)

Location & transport

- About 15 minutes by cycle to VU

- Around 30 minutes walking to VU if you like walking

- About 20 minutes to Zuid

- Around 20 minutes by tram to the city centre or 30 minutes by metro

- Amsterdamse Bos is only 10 minutes walking away

Contract & move-in

- Contract runs until September 2027 (no possibility of extension)

- Im looking for someone who can stay until the end of the contract

- Preferred move-in date: March 2026

- Viewings: I prefer to first chat a bit online to see if its a good match before scheduling an in-person viewing.

About Me

- I study at VU (Bachelor of Psychology, first year).

- I love quiet evenings crocheting stuffed toys, baking cookies, or cooking.

- I am quite introverted and love me some quiet time especially when I am at home.

- I spend a fair bit of time studying or relaxing at home, though I also visit my boyfriend occasionally.

Who Im looking for

- Student (this is a must due to the lease), preferably at VU

- Preferably international

- Female, 1922 years old

- Non-smoker

- Preferably not a big drinker (occasional drinks are fine, just not a party house)

- Has income or a guarantor

- Easygoing, respectful attitude who values a quiet living environment as much as I do.

Vibe at home

Im looking for someone quiet, chill, and respectful. Id like the apartment to feel like a calm home where:

- We both respect each others privacy and personal space

- We keep shared areas tidy and are considerate of noise

- We can communicate openly if something comes up

Im happy to chat, cook, or watch something together sometimes, but I also really appreciate alone time and fully respect it if you do too.

Guests & partners

- Occasional guests are totally fine

- Partners are welcome, as long as we both feel comfortable with it and communicate about it. I have a boyfriend who likes to visit and stays over frequently, so its important for me that were both okay with each others partners being around and keep things balanced for both of us.
