Room for rent in a modern loft-like apartment in the Kinkerbuurt in Amsterdam Oud-West, around the corner from the Foodhallen. The room has a built-in walk-in wardrobe and curtains. Optionally, I have a Brimnes Ikea sofa bed of 200x80cm available or you can bring your own bed. I also have mattresses that can be used, if you think they are good enough. Otherwise you can bring your own mattresses. All facilities and equipment are available, such as a washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen appliances and pans, etc. I do ask that you handle pans with care, for example, because it has happened before that they had to be replaced due to scratches from previous tenants.

I am currently re-educating myself with a Bachelor's degree in Future Planet Studies at the University of Amsterdam. In addition, I work as an energetic healer and I receive clients (3-5 weekly) at home. I have a separate treatment room for this.

I am looking for a clean, neat and social tenant. The ground floor must always be clean, because of receiving healing clients. I am also looking for someone who is social, because it's be nice to socially connect with housemates.

I have 2 cats and a goldfish. The cats have to get used to a new person, but it is a plus if you are a cat person, as I would ask you now and then to take care of them (+goldfish) as well.

I mainly eat organic, not vegetarian and always try to pay attention to sustainability.

I am looking for a tenant who does not smoke. It is also not the intention to have many visitors. We can discuss this. Occasional visitors are of course not a problem. It would be nice to also make agreements about noise in the evenings.

Rent is excluding electricity, gas, water. Utility costs are 50/50 split.

Viewing, and moving in, are possible immediately.
