I would like to offer a beautiful furnished room in a spacious mansion in Amsterdam Nieuw West. The mansion is in a quiet, green residential area near Sloterpark. Ideal if you are looking for a calm place to study and live with 4 nice and respectful female students. Video viewing is possible.

The suitable candidate

Female student or intern from abroad, proof of enrollment, age between 1925,

Non-smoker, tidy, calm, responsible, respectful

Not eligible candidates: full-time employees, candidates who need registration at the address

The room

Furnished room of 9 m² (single bed, desk, chair, wardrobe)

815 per month (all-inclusive rent: electricity, water, internet, taxes, furniture, etc).

Available from 1 October 2026, maximum 2 years, registration not offered

Bathroom shared with two other female tenant

The mansion & current living situation

A large mansion (204 m²) with 5 bedrooms. Currently 4 international students live here (from Slovenia, Sweden, France and Ireland), around 2125 years old. Some are doing an internship and others are doing a bachelors or masters.

Facilities include a kitchen (ground floor), living room (1st floor), 3 bedrooms and bathroom (2nd floor), 2 bedrooms/bathroom/laundry room (3rd floor), 3 toilets and a garage in the basement (not included in the rent), plus front and back terraces.

Cleaning ladies come every two weeks to clean common areas, bathrooms, and toilets. Kitchen utensils are already available. Extra items are at your own expense.

Rules & what you need to bring

Not allowed: pets, smoking, parties, overnight guests, bikes in the mansion or bringing your own furniture.

Bring with you: blankets, duvet, duvet, pillows, sheets, and any additional kitchen utensils you need.

Rental agreement

Temporary rental agreement; extension is not possible. Notice period: 2 months to end the agreement. One month rent is paid in advance after signing.

Move-out and other costs

Move-out cleaning fee: 45 (to prepare the room for the next tenant). Normally no other costs apply except for damages (intentional or through negligence) and clogged drains (plumber costs).

Deposit

815 deposit required when you move in. Refunded after move-out minus the 45 cleaning fee.

Location (Amsterdam Nieuw-West)

Quiet, green suburb near Sloterpark. Shops nearby at Osdorpplein (e.g., Dirk, Lidl, Albert Heijn, Action, Hema, C&A). Public transport is easy: direct bus connection to Schiphol Airport and tram 17 within walking distance. With a bike, the city centre is about 25 minutes away.
