Kamer in Overveenstraat

I have a room for rent in a lovely peaceful apartment in Amsterdam Noord. The room comes with a desk, sizeable wardrobe, and double bed (being delivered shortly!) The apartment is set up with everything you need, including the all important big TV. We are right next to the shops here in Waterlandpleinbuurt, with an Alber Heijn and a Febo amongst the local shops (nothing else needed right? haha). Importantly there are also excellent transport links from here. You can be at central station in 15 minutes.

A bit about me, I'm a 35 year old quintessentially English lad. I like to keep fit where possible without getting too carried away. I enjoy a beer at the weekend with friends, and you'll have to put up with Ipswich Town games being on the TV Saturday afternoons. All pretty normal stuff.

I'll be travelling on and off over the next few months, so there will also be periods where you've got the place to yourself. So plant watering duties will be part of the package if you can handle such responsibility :).

I've got a lovely flat here in Noord having moved in last year and hopefully it will be a great place for someone else to enjoy too. My preference is for a short term tenant until the end of the year. I can also be flexible though so let me know a bit about yourself and what your situation is and lets see if its a fit.

All bills are included in the price, so there will be no pissing about splitting the monthly water tax bill. Its also worth knowing there is parking available for permit holders (65 euros per 6 months I think) so we can apply for one for you if that would help as I don't have a car myself.
