Bright, spacious room (25m², 28m² floor space) within easy reach of the station with:

- Brand new private bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink (4.5m² floor space).

- Four Velux windows (with blackout curtains) for natural light and fresh air.

- Air conditioning for heating and cooling.

----- The house -----

Hi, we're Kasper and Bram, brothers. Last fall, we bought a house together with the idea of renting out the top floor. We've already done a lot of renovations (the basement is now a room, solar panels, air conditioning, a heat pump, underfloor heating, etc.), but it's not finished yet, so we'll start new projects every now and then, sometimes big, sometimes small.

Besides the upper floor, the kitchen/living room is also available, of course. We have a washer and dryer, and a piano and several guitars you're welcome to use. There's also a lovely garden (about 4x4 meters) that needs to be made a bit greener than it is now (one of the projects ) and a shed where you could park your bike. The location is also fantastic, less than 100 steps to the station, but without much noise!

We always try to eat together and would enjoy it if you join us. We agree on who cooks and we share the costs. We try to keep things tidy at home.

Kasper works in Almelo during the week (except Thursdays) and also has a busy social schedule. Bram works irregular hours in Amsterdam (self-employed) and abroad and is away from the Netherlands during the winter due to winter depression. When he's not earning money, we do housework. We both don't eat meat, and Bram even tries to eat vegan as much as possible (but in a relaxed way).

Who are we looking for? - You enjoy eating (and cooking) together and perhaps even doing things together

- You have a job or are studying (working from home is no problem)

- You value sustainability

- You don't smoke

- You are mindful of noise during the week

- No pets

Terms and Conditions

- Deposit: 1 month's rent

- Three months' notice, unless you find a compatible replacement sooner. So, if you decide to leave in a month, you don't have to pay for the following month unless you've already arranged a replacement tenant for that month (which we agree to). In other words: everything is subject to prior consultation
