Great to hear that youre coming to study in Enschede! The city offers plenty of opportunities to make the most out of your student life, and having a spot in a fun student house can play a big part in that. Maybe OD is the place for you!

Since our founding in 1968, the residents of OD have been pioneers of student life in Enschede. Now 58 years later five guys still live here who fully embrace student life, seek out challenges, and want to get more out of this period than just a degree. Each of us is a member of a student association (Audentis or Taste), and we are often involved in organizing a variety of social and career-oriented activities in and around Enschede.

Every Monday at exactly 18:00, our house evening starts with dinner together. Afterwards, we almost always do something fun. Whether were having drinks together in our own pub space (the grOD), playing pool, football, visiting another student house for drinks, or even studying together its always a good time. On top of that, we do plenty of other things together outside of house night as well. We enjoy spontaneous activities, go on an annual house holiday, organize a Tour des Parents, and host our yearly Midwinter Barbecue.

One thing that makes OD special is how involved former residents remain with the house. Many of the younger alumni regularly stop by for a coffee or a beer during house night. We also organize an annual dies celebration, where we head into town with many former residents and make Enschede a little less safe for a night.

OD is located just north of the city ring road. Its about a 15-minute bike ride to the campus and only 5 minutes to the city center. We also enjoy a spacious garden and a fully equipped kitchen. At the back of the garden, youll find the grOD our own private bar where we regularly hang out with friends and housemates. The great thing about this setup is that the house itself stays quiet, so people can still study even when others are visiting. We also have a bathroom equipped with both a washing machine and a dryer!

We are looking for a new male housemate with an active mindset and enthusiasm for student life. Fun, friendliness, and strong friendships are the best way to describe the atmosphere in our house.
