Studio in Eendrachtskade

Hi!
As Ill be spending a few months in England for my studies after the summer, Im looking for a house sitter for my lovely studio in Groningen. The studio is owned by housing corporation Lefier, which allows someone else to live in the property temporarily under a house sitter arrangement. The house sitter can register at the address with the municipality. The rental contract between Lefier and me will remain in place: I will stay the official tenant and continue to pay the rent to Lefier. Of course, we will also draw up an official house sitter agreement together. You can read more about this arrangement on Lefiers website (search Google for "huisbewaarderschap Lefier").
The studio is available from 13 September 2025, possibly a few days earlier (from 8 September at the earliest). The end date is flexible in consultation, but will be no earlier than 18 January 2026 and no later than 31 January 2026.
The studio is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need. Two washing machines and one dryer are shared with the rest of the floor (16 people in total). The location is ideal: within walking distance of the city centre, the train station, and two supermarkets just 5 minutes away. Zernike Campus is a 15-minute bike ride, and the UMCG (University Medical Centre) about 10 minutes.
An advance payment of 165 applies for water board and municipal taxes. If I receive a tax waiver (kwijtschelding) for these charges, I will of course refund the full amount to you.
I really love my home and would appreciate someone who will take good care of it. The building is on the quieter side and residents generally dont disturb one another, so this place wouldnt be a good fit for someone who likes to host parties regularly. Im looking for a non-smoker (this is very important to me) who has lived independently before and is not at the very start of their studies.
Are you looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to live in Groningen for a few months? Feel free to send me a message with a bit of information about yourself!
Best regards,
Corinne
