This attractive, fully furnished apartment of approximately 75 square meters is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Leiderdorp, on the eastern edge of Leiden. It offers the best of both worlds: convenient access to the citys vibrant culture and employment opportunities, while providing a peaceful and comfortable place to come home to.

The apartment has two balconies. The spacious south-facing balcony is approximately eight metres wide and is equipped with retractable sunshades. As the apartment is situated on the second floor, the balcony offers a pleasant, open view of greenery, neighbouring detached houses and the De Vliet waterway. The north-facing balcony is approximately 2.5 metres wide and is covered by a fixed overhanging roof.

Built in 1960, the apartment has plenty of character and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Over the years, it has been upgraded with double-glazed windows, efficient central heating, solar panels and a recently renovated bathroom and toilet. A large proportion of the electricity used to heat the shower water is generated by the solar panels.

The second bedroom is currently a study with a desk. Upon request the bureau can be removed to make space for your little one.

A private, lockable storage room of approximately 15 square metres is located on the ground floor, offering plenty of space for bicycles and other belongings. Free public parking is available directly in front of the apartment, and no parking permit is required.

The nearest motorway can be reached within approximately three minutes by car, providing convenient connections to cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. Leiden Central Station is around a 15-minute bicycle ride away.

My wife and I have happily lived here for the past ten years. As we will be temporarily relocating to Stuttgart, We would appreciate a tenant who feels at home here, treat it as their own home, and does not mind occasionally watering a few houseplants.
