Who Im looking for
A non-smoking, tidy, and easy-going housemate. Id love to live with someone I can get along with as friends and have a good connection. Its important to me that youre comfortable following a cleaning schedule for example, vacuuming is done weekly, so youd only need to do it every other week.
About the apartment
The rent is 720 per month, including utilities (gas, water, electricity), internet, use of the dishwasher (!) and washing machine. There will be a monthly fee of 28 if you want to register to the address. This is not mandatory.
The apartment is 85m² in total (my bedroom is private), and it has one of the best views in Zeist, which you can enjoy from your own bedroom with large sliding windows or from the living room.
The building has 5 elevators, and the apartment is on the 13th floor, right across from the lifts. When you walk in, youll find a hallway with access to the toilet, bathroom, and the open living room/kitchen (as well as my bedroom).
The living room/kitchen is about 45m², bright and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, an American-style smart fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser, and theres cupboard space for your groceries. Plates, pans, cutlery, etc. are already available for shared use.
Your bedroom is about 11.5m² with light carpet flooring and white-painted walls. It currently has a wooden loft bed (Storå from IKEA), which youre welcome to use or I can remove it if you prefer.
The bathroom is spacious, with a bath/shower combo and the washing machine. The toilet is separate, which is handy in a shared flat.
Theres indoor bike storage and free parking available right in front of and around the building.
The room is available from the listed date. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility to extend if things work out well.
About me
Im 30, non-binary (they/them), and work in IT. Im generally calm but social, and I enjoy things like playing a board game or watching TV together occasionally. I dont host parties (or only very rarely), so Im not looking for someone who wants to throw them regularly either.
I like keeping the apartment clean, so Ive set up a cleaning schedule to make sure everything stays fair and easy.
I also have two cats. Almost everything for them is automated (from the litter box to the feeder), but if youre allergic to cats, this probably wont be the right fit.
